Day 1: Arrive at Cochin
You will be given a customary warm welcome
by our Lets Travel India executive and later
on check in at a hotel for relaxation. In
the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of
Cochin.
Bolghatty Palace: Bolghatty Palace
is a Dutch palace, situated on the Bolghatty
Island.
Chinese Fishing Nets: The Chinese
fishing nets found here are the only ones
of its kind in India.
Dutch Palace: The Dutch Palace was
originally built by the Portuguese in 17th
century.
Fort Kochi beach: It is wonderful
beach for a walk along the beach at sunset.
Hill Palace: Built in the 19th century
by Raja of Kochi, the palace has been converted
into a museum.
Jewish Synagogue: This synagogue,
adorned by Chinese tiles & Belgian chandeliers,
was built in 1568.
St. Francis Church: St. Francis Church
is the oldest church built by Europeans
in India.
Day 2 & 3: In Munnar
After breakfast, you will leave for one
of the prominent hill stations in Kerala,
Munnar.
Pothamedu: It is a scenic spot offering
great views of tea, coffee & cardamom
plantations in Munnar.
Devikulam: It is an idyllic hill
station & the most sought-after among
the tourist attractions of Munnar.
Sita Devi Lake: This is an ideal
place for boating and an ultimate picnic
spot.
Matuppetty: It is located at a height
of 1700 meters and famous for its highly
specialized dairy farm.
Matuppetty Dam: The dam is a short
distance from the Matuppetty Dam, and is
a beautiful picnic spot.
Matuppetty Lake: This is the artificial
lake formed on the Dam, and serves as a
great boating site.
Attukal: If you wish to go for the
long treks, then this place should be your
choice.
Nyayamakad: Located at a distance
of 10 Kms from Munnar, this place is a land
of incredible waterfalls.
Eravikulam National Park: This flourishing
national park is home to the Nilgiri Tahr.
Anamundi Peak: This peak is the highest
among all the other peaks of South India.
Overnight stay will be at Munnar.
Day 4 & 5: In Thekkady/Periyar
4th morning, you will leave for the next
destination Thekkady, a little town, renowned
for striking lofty hills, fragrant spice
plantations and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
After arrival at Thekkady, check in at a
hotel. Stay overnight at Thekkady.
On the 5th day, enjoy a full day sightseeing
tour of Thekkady.
Periyar National Park: It is famous
for its wild elephants.
Spice Gardens: See the plantations
of cardamom, cinnamon and pepper, green
coffee & tea Gardens. Periyar Lake:
This is a 26 Sq. Km. artificial lake made
across the Periyar River.
Boat Cruise: This could be taken
on the lake to watch the bewildering variety
of wildlife.
Overnight will be at Thekkady.
Day 6 & 7: In Kumarakom
After breakfast on the 6th morning, you
will precede to Kumarakom town, which is
the most popular backwater destination of
Kerala. After Arrival at Kumarakom, check
in at a hotel/ Resort. In the afternoon
relax yourself with a special Kerala body
Massage. Overnight stay will be at Kumarakom.
On the 7th morning, enjoy a morning sightseeing
tour of Kumarakom.
Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary: Watch migratory
birds like Siberian stroke, egret, darter,
heron & teal etc. Vembanad Lake: Explore
the serene surroundings of this beautiful
place in a boat cruise.
Attend Yoga Classes in the afternoon. Overnight
will be at Kumarakom.
Day 8 & 9: In Kovalam
After breakfast on the 8th morning, you
will leave for the next destination; Kovalam.
After arrival at Kovalam, check in at a
hotel/resort. Enjoy your evening on the
serene beaches of Kovalam, providing perfect
ambience for practicing Yoga. Night halt
will be at Kovalam.
Next day in the morning, take part in Yoga
and Meditation Classes. Spend leisure time
during evening Overnight stay will be at
Kovalam.
Day 10: Tour Ends
After breakfast check out from the hotel
Board a train to your next destination or
home.
