Day 01: Delhi
On arrival you will be met by our Lets Travel
India representative and transferred to
hotel, where we will be holding the rooms
on ready occupancy basis. Stay overnight
at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
In the morning, take a city tour of Delhi.
Akshar Dhaam Temple: This newly
built temple on the banks of river Yamuna,
is a must visit.
Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple): A great
piece of architecture built in a lotus flower
shape.
Humayun's Tomb: The final resting
place of the Mughal emperor Humayun.
India Gate: The famous war memorial
built in the memory of soldiers who laid
lives for the country.
Jama Masjid: The biggest mosque in
India.
Lakshmi Narayan Temple: A modern
Hindu Temple.
Lodi's Tomb: The tomb of the famous
Lodi King.
Parliament House: Lok Sabha &
Rajya Sabha, housing assembly houses of
Indian Democratic.
President's House: The regal palatial
building that houses the president of India.
Qutab Minar: The famous minaret was
built by Quitubuddin AIbak in the year 1199.
Raj Ghat: The cremation site of the
father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.
Red Fort: The imposing Red Stone
structure built by the Mughal Rulers.
Safdurjung Tomb: Thus tomb was built
by Nawab Shuja-ud-Daulah, the son of Safdurjung.
Day 03: In Haridwar
In the morning, transfer to the station
to catch Shatabdi Express for Haridwar.
On arrival at Haridwar, transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon, take a city tour.
Har Ki Pauri: This is on the banks
of holy Ganges, where devotees come to take
a dip.
Mansa Devi: This Devi Mandir is situated
on top of a hill, and can also be reached
by a rope way.
Bharat Mata Mandir: This temple is
devoted to Mother India.
Chandi Devi: This Devi Mandir is
situated atop the 'Neel Parvat' on the eastern
bank of river Ganga.
Daksh Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva,
Daksh Mandir is in Kankhal; located 8 km
from railway station.
Day 04: In Rishikesh
In the morning, proceed to Rishikesh by
road. On arrival at Rishikesh, transfer
to hotel. In the afternoon, take a city
tour.
Bharat Mandir: It is a temple established
by Adi Guru Shankaracharya near in the 8th
century AD.
Rishi Kund: According to legends,
this pond was saturated by Goddess Yamuna.
Triveni Ghat: It is a sacred spot
where the pilgrims swarm to for a holy dip.
Geeta Bhawan: This is the oldest
temple complex in the entire area.
Lakshman Jhula: This is a suspended
bridge and was built in the year 1929.
Ashrams: The ashrams strewn all over
the towns are indisputably the leading tourist
attractions in Rishikesh. Some of the leading
ones are Parmarth Niketan, Shivananda Ashram,
Yoga Niketan, Omkaranand Ashram, Vanprastha
Ashram, Shankaracharya Nagar Transcendental
Meditation Centre, Vithal Ashram and Yoga
Study Centre.
Day 05 to Day 07: In Rishikesh
Take Yoga Training at the hotel for 3 days.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: In Shivpuri
In the morning, drive to Shivpuri. After
arrival, check in at the Nature camp resort.
Late afternoon, you will proceed on a jungle
walk in the reserve forest around the Nature
Camp Resort.
Day 09 & 10: Shivpuri
Wake up early morning for a Yoga class followed
by relaxation of body &mind.
After yogic breakfast, you will drive to
Byasi / Kaudiyala to start the rafting up
to Shivpuri.
Today you will hit the most exciting rapids
on Ganges. Lunch will be at nature camp
resort.
In the evening, you will learn meditation
and relaxation followed by camp fire &
dinner at camp.
Day 11: Drive to Delhi
In the evening you will be transferred to
station to connect train to Delhi. On arrival,
check in into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: In Agra
In the morning, drive to Agra en route visiting
Sikandra, on arrival check in into hotel.
In the afternoon, take a city tour.
Tajmahal: The world famous monument
of love.
Agra Fort: The red stone immense
structure, overlooking the Taj.
Fatehpur Sikri: It is the famous
ghost town, which Akbar envisioned as capital
of his Mughal Kingdom.
Sikandra: It is the final resting
place of the greatest of all Mughal kings
Akbar.
Mathura & Vrindavan: They are
related to the birth place of Lord Krishna.
Proceed to Jaipur.
Day 13 & 14: In Jaipur
Take a city tour visiting the following
places in Jaipur.
Amber Fort: This magnificent structure
housed the ancient capital of the State.
Sheesh Mahal: It is the Hall of Victory
glittering with mirrors.
Maharaja's City Palace: Experience
the past opulence of this city in this palace.
The Observatory: This observatory
was designed to calculate the movement of
planets in solar system.
Ram Niwas Gardens: A beautifully
designed lush garden is a must visit.
Hawa Mahal: The palace on winds is
the most prominent building of the city.
Day 15: Proceed to Delhi and onward
destination
In the morning, you will drive back to Delhi.
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be taken
to hotel where we will be holding a few
rooms for wash & change. After dinner,
transfer to International Airport for flight
back to onward destination. |
