Day 1: Arrive-Chennai
On arrival in Madras meet and transfer to
Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel
Day 2: Chennai
On the 2nd day, enjoy an excursion to Vedanthangal
Bird Sanctuary. Board the overnight train
to proceed for Mettupalayam.
Day 3: Arrive- Mettupalayam
On the 3rd day, after arriving in Mettupalayam,
you will transfer to Mudumalai. Late in
the afternoon, take a trek through the scrub
jungles of Mudumalai Wildlife sanctuary.
Overnight stay will be at the jungle resort.
Day 4: Mudumalai
On the 4th day, you will take a visit to
deciduous forests and Mudumalai Sanctuary.
Overnight stay will be at jungle resort.
Day 5: Mudumalai - Bandipur - Mudumalai
On the 5th day, you will enjoy a whole day's
excursion to Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary.
Overnight stay will be at jungle resort.
Day 6: Mudumalai-Mukurthy
On the 6th day, you will drive to Mukurthy
Wild life Sanctuary, on arrival check in
there at the jungle resort. Overnight stay
will be at jungle resort.
Day 7: Mukurthy
On the 7th day, you will go for exploring
the Shola forest. Overnight stay will be
at jungle resort.
Day 8: Mukurthy - Ooty
On 8th day, you will drive to Ooty. On arrival
in Ooty, you will check into a hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 9: Ooty - Annamalai
On the 9th day, you will drive to Annamalai
Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival in Annamalai
Wildlife Sanctuary, you will check in at
a lodge. Overnight stay will also be at
the Lodge.
Day 10 to 13: Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary
On the 10th day, you will take a trip to
elephant camps and the forest. Overnight
stay will be at the Lodge. On the 11th day,
you will take a trip to Anagundi and Varagaliarrain
forests. On the 12th day, you will take
a trip to Parambikulam wildlife Sanctuary.
On the 13th day, you will drive to Munnar,
visiting the Chinnar Sanctuary on the way.
On arrival in Munnar, you will check in
the Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: Munnar - Periyar
On the 14th day, you will be driven to the
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. There you will
explore the wildlife throughout the day.
Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Periyar.
Day 15: Periyar
On the 15th day, you will enjoy a cruise
on Lake Periyar. Overnight stay will be
at a Hotel.
Day 16: Periyar - Cochin
On the 16th day, you will drive to Cochin.
Upon arrival in Cochin, you will check in
at the Hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 17: Depart - Cochin
On the 17th day, you will be transferred
to airport to catch flight for onwards journey.
