Day 1: Arrive Cochin
On the 1st day of your trip, after arriving
in Mumbai, you will again board a connecting
flight to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin,
after assistance, you will be transferred
to the hotel in Cochin, to spend the rest
of the day at leisure.
Day 2: In Cochin
On the 2nd day of your trip, after breakfast
in the morning, you will take a guided city
tour. Afternoon will be free. Overnight
stay will be in Cochin.
Day 3: Cochin - Munnar
On the 3rd day of your trip, after breakfast
in the morning, you will drive to Munnar
(135 kms/04½ hrs) en route visit
tea plantations. On arrival in Munnar, you
will check in at hotel. In the afternoon,
you will go for a boat ride in the lake.
Overnight stay will be in Munnar.
Day 4: In Munnar
On the 4th day of your trip, after breakfast
in the morning, you will be free for the
whole day to visit the bazaars, plantations
etc. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.
Day 5: Munnar - Periyar
On the 5th day of your trip, after breakfast
in the morning, you will drive to Periyar
(100 kms/03 hrs). On arrival in Periyar,
you will check in at hotel. In the afternoon,
enjoy a boat ride in Lake Periyar to watch
wildlife. Later you will visit Kumily spice
market to see and buy spices. Overnight
stay will be in Periyar.
Day 06: Periyar to Kumarakom
On the 6th day, you will drive to Kumarakom.
Check into cottages of the heritage hotel
- Coconut Lagoon resort situated on the
Backwaters. Overnight stay will be at Coconut
Lagoon
Day 07: Kumarakom (House boat) - Alleppey
On the 7th day, you will transfer to deluxe
house boat for a 24hrs Kerala back water
cruise covering Kumarakom and Alleppey back
waters. All meals will be served inside
the house boat open top dinning gall and
over night stay will be at House boat.
Day 08: Alleppey
On the 8th day, you will check out of the
house boat by the time the house boat will
have reached Alleppey. Here you will board
a cab and transfer to Alleppey back water
resort. Later in the day, you will proceed
for a local tour of Alleppey. Over night
stay will be at Alleppey.
Day 09: Alleppey - Kovalam
On the 9th day of your trip, after breakfast
in the morning, you will drive to Kovalam
(180 kms/04½ hrs). On arrival in
Kovalam, check in at a beach resort. Rest
of the day will be free to relax at the
beach or indulge in Ayurvedic massages.
Overnight stay will be in Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam - Kanyakumari
On the 10th day of your trip, after breakfast
proceed for a full day tour of Kanyakumari.
Visit Kumari Amman temple, Vivekananda rock
and Gandhi memorial. In the evening, you
will return back to Kovalam for spending
the rest of the day at leisure. Over night
stay will also be at Kovalam.
Day 11: Kovalam - Trivandrum
On the 11th day of your trip, after breakfast
transfer to Trivandrum airport to board
your flight to onward destination.
