Taragarh Fort - Kota
Positioned at a distance of around 39 km
off Kota, Taragarh Fort was the home of
a major princely state at the height of
the Rajput heydays.
Junagarh Fort - Bikaner
The fort is positioned in Bikaner. It is
one of the supreme of Rajput monuments.
Raja Rai Singh, Akbar's contemporary started
building Junagarh Fort in 1587.
Chittorgarh Fort - Chittorgarh
The fort is on a 280-hectare location on
the pinnacle of a 180-metre-high mount,
which rises unexpectedly from the adjacent
plains.
Amber Fort - Near Jaipur
It is positioned 11 km from Jaipur. It was
a long time ago the prehistoric capital
of Jaipur State. Raja Man Singh, the Rajput
commanding officer of Akbar's army started
the building of the fortress palace in 1592.
Jaigarh Fort - Jaipur
Also famous as the fortress of victory,
Jaigarh Fort is a jagged construction built
in 1726 by Sawai Jai Singh. It was the imperial
treasury for quite a few years. The fort
is balanced on a rock face and is bordered
by enormous fortifications with indoors
walkways offering eye-catching sights on
every side.
Meharangarh Fort - Jodhpur
It is positioned in Jodhpur. Rao Jodha built
the fort in 1459 when he relocated his capital
from Mandore. The castle is located about
400-ft higher than the city and has 68-ft
wide and 117-ft high walls, which dominates
the surrounding plain.
Golden fort - Jaiselmer
It is positioned in Jaiselmer. Bhatti Chief
Jaisal laid the groundwork of the fort in
1156 A.D on Tricuta hill. The fort is also
called Sonar Kila or Golden Fort because
it is made up of yellow sandstone and seems
to ignite into a golden flame when scorched
by the desert sun.
