Day 01: Arrive - Delhi
After arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred
to the hotel with the assistance of our
representative. Here you will stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 02 & 03: Delhi
Today morning we shall take you for a city
tour of Delhi, visiting the following places
.
Akshar Dhaam Temple: This newly
built temple on the banks of river Yamuna,
is a must visit.
Art & Craft Museum: This houses
the finest collection of Indian handicrafts
from all parts of the country.
Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple): A great
piece of architecture built in a lotus flower
shape.
Chandni Chowk: The great architectural
wonder, showing intricate stone carvings.
Chhattarpur Temple: The Oldest market
of Delhi dating back to the Mughal period.
Humayun's Tomb: The final resting
place of the Mughal emperor Humayun.
India Gate: The famous war memorial
built in the memory of soldiers who laid
lives for the country.
Jama Masjid: The biggest mosque in
India.
Lakshmi Narayan Temple: A modern
Hindu Temple.
Lodi's Tomb: The tomb of the famous
Lodi King.
Day 4 & 5: Jaipur
Take a tour of City to the following places
Amber Fort: This magnificent structure
housed the ancient capital of the State.
Sheesh Mahal: It is the Hall of Victory
glittering with mirrors.
Maharaja's City Palace: Experience
the past opulence of this city in this palace.
The Observatory: This observatory
was designed to calculate the movement of
planets in solar system.
Ram Niwas Gardens: A beautifully
designed lush garden is a must visit.
Hawa Mahal: The palace on winds is
the most prominent building of the city.
Overnight stay will be at a hotel in the
city of Jaipur. 6th morning proceed to Mandwa.
Day 6: Mandwa
Take a tour of City to the following places
Castle Mandawa: This is perfectly
positioned in the center of the Shekhavati
region.
The grand havelis: These havelis
are a fitting instance of the well-known
Shekhavati workmanship.
Depart for Bikaner (190-kms / 4 hr.) early
in the morning.
Day 7: Bikaner
Take an afternoon tour of City to the following
places
Lal Garh Palace: This is an architectural
masterpiece in red sandstone.
Junagarh: This fort is a formidable
structure encircled by a moat and has some
beautiful palaces.
Camel Research Farm: This is a Camel
breeding farm managed by the Indian government.
Bhandasar Jain Temple: Beautiful
16th century A.D. Jain temple dedicated
to the 13th Tirthankar.
Day 8: Jaiselmer
Drive from Bikaner to Jaiselmer (326-kms
/ 7 hr.) in the morning, visiting Fort Pokhran
on the way. Arrive in Jaiselmer in the evening.
Overnight stay will be at a hotel.
Take a tour of City to the following places
Jaiselmer Fort: This fort was built
in 1156. It has lot of interesting poles
& traditional Havelis.
Patwon ki Haveli: These havelis with
the Jhala work are beautifully designed
& crafted very finely.
Gadi Sagar Lake: The Lake was once
the water supply of the city.
Museums: There are three key museums
in Jaiselmer, Desert Culture Museum, Jaiselmer
Folklore Museum and Government Museum. All
of them are worth to visit.
Day 9: Jaiselmer - Khuri - Jaiselmer
On the 9th day of your desert safari tour,
you will go on an excursion to Khuri (40
km /1 hr.), an oasis village located in
the sand dunes. Here you will enjoy Camel
safari in the sand dunes of Khuri. Overnight
stay will be at Narain Niwas Palace in Jaiselmer.
Day 10: Jodhpur
Drive from Jaiselmer to Jodhpur (280-kms
/ 6 hr.). Arrive in Jodhpur in the afternoon.
Take a tour of City to the following places
Meharangarh Fort: The stunning top
of hill fortress is one of the biggest forts
in India.
Jaswant Thada: This milky-white marble
monument was built in 1899.
Umaid Bhawan Palace: The fortress
has 347 rooms & counted among the premium
palaces of India.
Clock Tower & Markets: It's the
place for Shopping.
Mandore Garden: The gorgeous garden
has few monuments of Jodhpur's previous
rulers.
Day 11: Jodhpur-Ranakpur
Take up an early morning safari in the desert
countryside. Visit the Bishnoi hamlets,
Raika herdsmen, bird rich lakes, potters,
weavers, leather craftsmen and wildlife
habitats. Drive to Ranakpur in the afternoon
(160-kms / 4 hr.). Arrive at Ranakpur in
the evening. Stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 12: Ranakpur
In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour
of the Ranakpur temples. Drive to Udaipur
(96-kms / 3 hr.) in the afternoon. After
arrival at Udaipur in the evening, you will
stay overnight at a hotel or a tourist lodge.
Day 13 & 14: Udaipur
For 2 days in the morning, take a sightseeing
tour of the romantic city of Udaipur.
City Palace: A regal architectural
wonder soaring over the lake on a mount.
Jag Mandir Island: The lovely palace
is in the centre of the lake Pichola.
Lake Pichola: It is an oasis in the
desert, a lovely setting for a romantic
dinner.
Bagore-Ki Haveli: It is a museum
having 100 rooms, Rajasthani costumes, modern
art and paintings.
Day 15: Udaipur to Delhi
In the morning, proceed to Delhi from Udaipur
via road/rail/air. Arrive Delhi in the evening
and check into a hotel.
Day 16: Delhi - Onward Destination
Spend the day at leisure in Delhi. Also
indulge in some last minute shopping. Late
at night, transfer to the airport for catching
flight to your onward/home destination.
