Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambore National Park is a globally recognized forest in central India. Located inside India's state of Rajasthan, it is bordered by the Vindhya and Arawali hill ranges and lies close to the external periphery of Thar Desert. The complete area of 390 sq km is located 500 m above sea level and is an extensive expanse of wilderness and vegetation. Formerly a hunting land of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Ranthambore was affirmed a recreation sanctuary in 1955. In 1980s, it turned into a national park and was listed amongst the reserves sheltered underneath Project Tiger (1973).

Bandipur National Park
The Bandipur National Park is a stunning jungle reserve situated in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. It lies in the outline of the Western Ghats on the Deccan highland, and extends diagonally in an area of about 875 sq km, 780-1455 m above sea level. The area is well gifted with plants and flowers that range from arid and sultry growths to evergreen forests to open green woodlands. Precious hardwoods, including rosewood and teak, are found here.
